Maa Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge and learning in Hindu culture. She is also the goddess of music, art, and wisdom. Each year, the day of Vasant Panchami is celebrated as Saraswati puja. This day is also called Shree Panchami which falls on the fifth day of the month Magha. This festival is celebrated all over India in various ways depending on the religion. On the day of Saraswati Puja, people wear new clothes, bring flowers and food. The goddess is adorned with aesthetics and garlands. People sing Saraswati Vandana and Stuti during the puja and they offer fruits, flowers, and sweets to Maa Saraswati.
